The Procurement Process
This Contracting Officers Representative (COR) workshop covers COR duties as required by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP), Federal Acquisition certification. It includes Acquisition Planning, Market Research, Defining Requirements, Effective Award Communication, Technical Evaluation of Proposals, Negotiations, Award Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Financial Management, and Demobilization and Close-out.
- Strategize and select appropriate award type based on market research
- Develop well written scopes of work
- Initiate RFQ, RFI and RFP solicitations and make selection based on evaluation criteria without the influence of conflict of interest and technical leveling
- Demonstrate the appropriate actions based on the delegation of authority to avoid unauthorized commitments
